COMPARATIVE OVERVIEW OF ENERGY USAGE BETWEEN CLASSIC AND XEROMON DRYER

Observe cost saving benefits of around 1400 € per month for 500 kg dryer, compared to the open system, electricity powered dryer (details in table below).

Compared to the open system dryer powered by wood, the price difference is also substantial, amounting to approx. 30 € per day, equaling 900 € per month, without the added cost of heating and temperature control supervision.

We are confident that substantial cost saving benefits will make existing manufacturers reconsider adopting new heat pump dryers,, noting substantial decrease in production costs and increase in market competitiveness.
In order to verify that calculation, we are providing tables comparing costs of classical and condensational (heat pump) technology.
Two parallel, energy usage tables are presented: for classical and XEROMON dryers, with capacities of 19.8m2 and 32.4m2 (or 300 and 500 kg of fresh plums).

From the provided data, one can observe cost saving benefits of around 1400 € per month for 500 kg dryer.

The calculation relates to energy consumption of the heated part of dryer. The installed power of ventilator isn’t included, given that it is a necessity for every dryer and approximately the same for all capacities.
